Helping a winery scale into its full potential.
Kenzo Estate is known for its award-winning red varietals, and Schmitt + Company has been privileged to work with the Kenzo team to build their winery, tasting room, and administration buildings over the years. As the winery grew, its owners realized that more production space would be needed in order to grow the brand and explore new styles of winemaking. Kenzo’s leadership partnered with Schmitt + Company and MH Architects to design and build 9,400 sq. ft. of additional production space, plus a 3,800 sq. ft. crush pad with a covering to protect their workers from the heat.

Kenzo’s production team now enjoys ample space to perfect their craft and scale production, with three state-of-the-art buildings and one entire structure dedicated to white and rosé varietals. Their facilities are ultra functional and match the aesthetic of the other iconic buildings on the estate.
