Sonoma Weekender
farmhouse living for the city set.
This weekend getaway was designed for a San Francisco bachelor who wanted a modern take on farmhouse chic where he could escape from city life. The estate was designed with the intention of entertaining friends and family in the quintessential indoor / outdoor style that Sonoma County is known for. Traditional farmhouse roofing material was paired with stucco and vertical cedar siding to integrate modern elements while keeping in context with the estate’s surroundings.

Throughout the property, the design and floor plan compliment the exterior Sonoma mountain vistas and lush surroundings. The master bath’s large bay window welcomes the outdoors, while warm wood cabinetry and stone colored tiling recall the natural tones found just steps outside.
